Hi Ladies,
I just signed up for BlogHer 09. Anyone else planning on going? It's going to be in Chicago this year, which sounds like a lot of fun!

Once we get closer to the date, I'd like to plan a stepchicks cocktail party for us all to get to meet and greet each other face to face.

You might try Susan Stewart at the University of Iowa. If you search my blog you'll find her info. She's a demographer and might have the latest and greatest numbers. You could try the National Stepfamily Resource Center though they are more focused on training therapists than finding the latest data. There is also a new blended families organization that is lobbying on capital hill. I bet they would have some resources for you. So glad you're planning to write a letter...and yes, I agree we should turn it into a book!
