So, as some of you know, we had a court date yesterday. BM had filed a Rule 43, basically asking for the following:

Just breathe... this WILL be a good Thanksgiving!

Okay so we have the kids this week for Thanksgiving but because of our work schedules, MIL took them Sun night-tonight. My family has been here, so that was a HUGE stress relief for me, to be able to spend some time being a daughter and not a mother! Well, we get the kids back tonight and more family is coming in - my home will have 12 people in it tonight!

Ups and Downs

Man, what a day! Big highs, big lows.

It's complicated, but today I had to pick up my stepkids from their mother's MIL...ie, her new husband's mother, who was babysitting them. It was my first time to meet this woman although she lives less than a minute away (truly....she just moved from out of state, to literally down the street) and the kids talk about her a lot. They spend a lot of time with her. I found myself very nervous.

Beliefs

Its been awhile since my last post!

Lately SD3 has been asking about God here and there, nothing big just the ocasional "Why did God make clouds" kind of thing. But this weekend, while visiting family we all went to bed at the same time and as we were turnign off the lights she said to me "Sarah, you forgot to say your "God Bless"". Now What Do I Do???????????? I am so lost...

So my SD is now 15, which makes it legal for her to "sleep" with her 18 y/o bf. This saddens me that my BF is OK with this. I know it is his decision as she is his child and not mine. But how do I live with his decision when it affects my morals? I cannot seem to accept this, I have tried and tried to.
